Don't know why but when stuff around me happens breaks my heart,
all I can think of is asking God, " WHY!"
and the line that always pops into my head is "break my heart for what breaks yours"

Don't really know why but just thinking of that line sung in heart wrenching plea suitably explains my cry to God asking WHY.

I think the recent sleep training programme is messing with my brain.
But anyhow gonna test it out for first week of school and see how it works out.

and because I don't have much incentive to blog
so keep things short and sweet
what i wanted to blog about.

is in essence my motto for next year.

so yes songs that remind of certain events.
First of is THIS.
reminds me of Ms Koh chen Chen's wedding. (:
me and [info]xtintin were sitting at the fountain and waiting for the ceremony to start
and well this song sparked the start of NEWS fandom.
I still can recognise them in this video.
but i doubt if i see them wif new hairstyles, i can.
Kei-chan I'm sure though will still be recognizable. x)
and cheng's room is still plastered with yamapi posters i'm sure.

okay I gotta go pack for for sydney.
If you are curious, the other song which reminds me of an event is this.
okay i cant find it on youtube.
but it's basically any song sung by singapore idol - slyvester sim.
It reminds me of the time when me and [info]woshitou sat at the bus stop listenin to his songs off her ipod and just head bopping.

Haha i realise i have to move both the song i have in mind for [info]xtintin and [info]woshitou to the next next meme day.
Cause they both remind me of specific like events.
Not so much the place where we were at then.
so yes. TOUGH.
SONG THAT REMINDS ME OF A PLACE.

I think i'm going about this in the wrong way,
thinking of places and trying to match songs to them.
Perhaps i should just listen to songs and see if any places pop up.
any suggestionsss??

But in the mean time,
There was this is a song they danced to in church on sunday.
which totally sparked the idea that we should set up....
A christian club!!
which will unfortunately, be alcohol free, brightly lit and have a conservative dress code.

So to all the people who claim to go clubbing 'just for the music'
I'm sure you won't mind coming to me club!! :D

Day 05 - a song that reminds you of someone [02 Nov 2010|04:37pm]

Haha here's one i can think of right away.


This reminds me of my AIS group. or edmund in particular.
Cause everytime we get puzzled with AIS, he'll break out into song and sing this single line,
"i hate smu (repeat)"
i mean this line "我会送你红色玫瑰。。。
and i'd always wonder what the rest of the song sounds like.
so during the last meeting cannot take it already youtubed it and well it's a pretty nice song.

hmmm there is a song that reminds me of [info]xtintin  but i'll save it for the song that reminds me of a place.
cause it reminds me of that specific place where we listened to the song and it sparked a whole well song collection.

okay shall go do tax. and see if any other songs pop up.

I was all prepared to do my meme for today.
When luckily I decided to double check what song I had to do for the day.
And it turns out to be
Day 04: a song that makes you sad
not
Day 22: a song that you listen to when you’re sad
(And I actually know the difference for this)
Daim.

So it's back to the drawing board for awhile.
Hope inspiration strikes before the day is done.

[edit] okay semi got it.
This song doesn't exactly make me sad but it makes me well, pensive. which works.
Anyhow, I like how Eminem has emotion even while he raps.
And i think the Dido's bit is a good fit.
(Though if you listen to the rest of her real song it gets alot happier)
So yea listen to the lyrics and tell me what thoughts it draws from you.
And I'll tell you what it makes me think about too.

haha I don't understand the difference between
A song that makes you happy

and

A song you listen to when you are happy.

But anw both describe most of the songs i listen to so yeaa toughie.
So i settled for this song i heard it yesterday while in the car with [info]phy ,
Though I remembered I liked it, googled it before but promptly forgot it's lyrics/title/artiste once I stepped out of the car.
Well i did remember it was country music, one guy and one girl, with a guitar and band name starting with S!

not very useful though. so I just had to stalk 98.7fm till it played again.
And TADAAA! :D got. it. so here it is!

haha the video's quite heee.
so well just listen to the tune and hum along. (:

Unlike Joyce, I took least favourite song to mean...
well song i don't likee.
So yea here it is.


Why don't i like it?
It just annoys me.
which on hindsight i realise is because of the annoyingly repetitive undesirable drum/highhat beat.
do you realise it doesn't stop or change throughout the whole song?
Cept the bridge. which is the best part of the song.
Awfully amazing.

All that said, Witty lyrics can save the day.

same tune, same beats, different lyrics.
and also i suppose his voice kinda drowns out the music.
But yeaaa.

Okay! doneeee.
time to sleep.
And all you people out there should too.
7 hours minimum beauty sleep.

hmmm.
If you know me, you will also know that I periodically delete all my songs.
Because it's easier to start collecting new songs than to shift through and decide which you don't like anymore.
SO, I cant really say I've an all time favourite song.
But well this is a current favourite. x)

cause it's boppy, and has cool gameboy like accompaniment. (:
okay I've to go for exciting meeting with the dean....
